Water element dressing encompasses unique clothing, natural free-flowing fluid textiles, asymmetric cuts, abstract prints, and dark black/blue tones. Wavy lines, curves, spirals, and paisley represent water's movement. The metal element and colors (brass, copper, gold, and silver) can further support the enhancement of water's effects. But stir away from wood and earth tones colors that weaken water. Wearing the color black helps to exude leadership, project authority, depth, power, strength, or mystery. Earth should forgo Metal and Wood, as both are harmful to earth. Therefore, staying clear of green, silver, bronze, gold, copper, and pewter
Complementary Colors: Light yellow & brown are the dominant colors. - Other main colors are sand, beige, cream, tan, taupe, terra cotta, canary, dandelion, cream, coffee, and mocha. Additional colors to use are gold, orange, pink, purple, red, and white. Remember that yellow can be draining, so it is best to avoid wearing it when already tired.

Wood colors brown, tan, and beige strengthen wood energy, and water colors support wood energy, much like water supports the growth of the trees. Harmful colors are gold, orange, pink, purple, red, and white. Metallic colors and a lot of metal-colored hardware on attire and accessories are not advised, as metal cuts wood. Since fire burns wood, it is also not advised to wear red. Wood people are business and risk-takers with tools to see projects through. Stripes and columns can be a go-to print whenever you feel you want to get things going.

Since water and fire aren't supportive of metal, colors red, orange, purple, and pink aren't great choices. A scarf, headband, or soft accessory can be worn to connect with a bit more warmth. Black and blue are often worn in professional settings. However, metal should keep in mind they make metal persons appear closed off.
